The prices for Airsoft
$25 plus GST flat rate per person all day week-end play. Total $26.50 This rate does not include play on laser tag field or paintball field, and does not include gun rental.
$10.50 rate if you have your own gun (includes gst) per person for week-day play (not including holidays or weekends). This rate includes play on any field. No deposit needed. From 10 am - 10 pm. Please call ahead.
$5 paintball mask rental if you do not have fully sealed googles.
Training for squads is welcome. No deposit is needed unless reserving play on either laser tag field or paintball field, on the week-end. You still need to reserve ahead by calling or emailing.
You will have use of the fields behind the laser tag field. We are currently in the process of building a paintball field, and when done, Airsoft/Softair may book in on either the laser tag field or the paintball field. To get on one of the built up fields, you would need a mimimum of 10 people, The price would be $26.50 per person but the play on the built up fields would be limited to 2 hours, but you could continue to play (all day) on the fields behind the laser tag field.
All games require a non-refundable deposit of $100 for any group reservations (10 or more) of the laser tag or paintball fields. Deposits are first come, first served and generally people book main fields about a month in advance. You will not be booked in until we receive your deposit.
For a complete exclusive use of the whole field of 77 acres, a non-refundable deposit is needed of $200 for the date you choose
We are willing to profit share for big games (minimum 50 people) with a split of 50/50 (airsoft only) with some allowances for game costs. We also have the standard rate of $26.50 per person with a 30 person minimum. For those that are good at organising games, you can make money by using the profit-sharing option and getting more people to play. You can however, start with the standard rate, and go to the profit-sharing option as long as you have the minimum 50 people.
1) If you have less than 30 people and you have booked for exclusive use, the rate goes up to $37.10 (includes GST) per person and you will not have exclusive use of the whole field.
2) If you have booked for exclusive use, and have less than 20 people, the rate would be $42.40 including GST per person and no exclusive use.
For example, you have 12 people who want to play. You can call or email and say you are coming. You can choose to reserve a spot and pay a deposit to play on one of the built up fields or you can pay no deposit and play on the back fields, both at a cost of $26.50. For someone who would like to run a big game, you can choose to profit share and then try to get 50 or more people to play and you can make money. Say you can get 75 people, charge $30 per head. Total = $2,250 divided by 2 and you would make $1,125.
For parents who do not know what airsoft is, it is a military type milsim hobby mostly for adults. People buy camoflage utilities and electric or gas guns made to look fairly realistic and then they practice military type game play and tactics. It is all done in fun, and the guns shoot out BBs, so safety is a major factor with airsoft. Our age restrictions for our field for airsoft is 18 years old. This is not set in stone. Canadian Tire type airsoft guns are not the norm for these games, so please email us at sales@durhamtag.com if you are interested in coming. The guns cost anywhere between $200-$1000 each and camis run $50-$600 as well. We do not rent guns for the airsoft games, you must bring your own or borrow from someone.
