Outdoor Laser Tag in Ontario, Toronto, and the Durham Region
The sport of outdoor laser tag in Ontario is a totally new concept driven by new technology. There is no real laser beam in laser tag, but a eye-safe beam of infra-red light which is the same type of beam in your TV remote. Technological advances have allowed the beam to be focused over longer distances and in direct sunlight. Our new guns will cover distances from 300 ft to 1000 ft.
Durham Tag is run and operated by Leonard and his wife, along with his daughters who help out. We also run fully mobile games and can travel for corporate outings, picnics, and other group scenarios. We have gone as far as Montreal for a summer camp excursion and have traveled to Algonquin Park for a great corporate evening event. We can do fund-raising for your event or profit-share if needed. We can run large groups such as 100-1000 people by using a round robin tournament game structure or as an event among others such as in a fair. Leonard has been interested in playing tag and hide and seek since he was a kid. He decided to join the elite United States Marine Corps to see what the miltary was all about. He was stationed in Hawaii for 4 years in the infantry, and went to Japan for a year in this time. His next station was Bahrain, which is in the middle east, for a year, then a year in North Carolina, where he was in a special unit called CBIRF, which stands for Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, which was engaged in force protection from terrorists and chemical and biological attacks within the U.S. Leonard learned alot and fully enjoyed his time in the military.
Durham Tag is one of the few outdoor laser tag facilities in Ontario, which use the premium guns from Battlefieldsports based in Australia.
Outdoor laser tag is a great birthday idea or a perfect group activity for scouts, girl guides, hockey teams, soccer teams, etc. We can handle groups up to 24 people from ages 5+. All ages love this game as there is no hard projectile being shot at you, and no bruises or the chance of getting an eye shot out.
Looking for a new outdoor activity that you can play with your kids, or do you have a group that loves to do stuff outdoors but tired of the same old stuff? Here there is only one fee to pay with nothing more to buy. We have some extras you can purchase but this is not required to play the game. We have rental coveralls that are camoflage that make you hard to see in the bush, and we also have pop and gatorade if you have thirst.
